Context:
The H&DN is a networking and support group for council-owned housing and development companies. Launched at the end of 2024, formed an advisory group of six council-owned company managing directors, and set out a spring season of online meetings and briefings, plus three events at the UKREiiF Conference in May.
The Council-Owned Company Showcase is designed to describe the different business models, objectives and circumstances of council-owned companies across the country, and to highlight their achievements and lessons learned, and to demonstrate their value particularly in getting new homes built.
